30% of 160 is 48 dollars. Meaning you would take the 48 from 160. Leaving 112.So the 30% mark up would mean you would pay $112.Saving $48.

Take the 160 dollar,and have the 40% to work with. Taking this would be $64. So 160-64 is $96. They will spend $96 on the phone in-store

Purchase online- $112

Purchase in-store-$96

The better deal is in-store
