x=-1

STEPS:

Simplify both sides of the equation.

10x+(−3)(2x)+(−3)(−4)=8

(10x+−6x)+(12)=8

4x+12=8

Subtract 12 from both sides.

4x=−4

Divide both sides by 4.

4x/4=-4/4
