10 to the power of 2 +10 to the powers of three

10 x 10 = 100

10 x 10 x 10 = 1000

100 + 1000 = 1100

Explanation:

If the question asks you a number to the power of 2 you are multiplying the number against itself. For example ( 40 to the power of 2 would be 40 x 40 which is 1600). If you are multiplying to the power of three than you are multiplying the number three times against itself. For example ( 40 to the power of 3 would be 40 x 40 x 40 which is 64000.) Then you would add the two answers together for my example it would be 1600 + 64000= 65600. <<<< Don't get this answer mixed up with the answer above it is just an example!
