Explanation:

By drawing 2 vertical lines from the 2 edges on the right sides we can obtain 3 rectangles and the sum of their areas is the required area.

Area of the figure = 12*15 + 3 * 7 + 2 * 5

= 180 + 21 + 10

= 211 cm^2.
