Answer:

Discounted down to $822.8

Steps:

(968)/(x) = (100)/(15)

968 = 100%

thus divide 100 by 15

(100)/(15) = 6.6666666666667

now plug the solution into denominator of 968

(968)/(6.6666666666667)  = 145.2

now subtract 968 & 145.2 to get $822.8 as the discounted price.

Hey!

-----------------------------------------------

Steps:

Convert 15% to a decimal:

15% = 0.15

Multiply 968 and 0.15 to get the discount:

968 x 0.15 = $145.20

Subtract 968 and 145.20 to get discount price:

968 - 145.20 = $822.80

-----------------------------------------------

Answer:

The price of the mountain bike after the discount is $822.20!

-----------------------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
