In physics we refer to how heavy the object is as the mass.

Fg = mass x acceleration due to gravity

Force is directly proportional to mass, thus if force of gravity increases mass also increases.

Simple easy explanation: The force of gravity IS what we call "weight".

Better explanation: The force of gravity between two masses tries to pull the masses together. If gravity increases, then the force pulling the masses together increases.
