Please help!

"a line intercepts the point (3, -4) and has a slope of 17. what is the slope-intercept equation for this line?"
then it has the partially filled out equation:
y=17x+__

y=17x-55

Explanation:

4 = 17(3)+b

-4 = 51 + b Subtract 51 both sides

-55 = b
