Two spheres are cut from a certain uniform rock, One has radius 4.85 cm. The mass of the other is three times greater. Find its radius.

Given

one sphere has a radius(r) of 4.85 cm

Also another sphere has a mass 3 times the previous one

since the density remains same therefore

second sphere has a volume 3 times of former.

Let R be the radius of bigger Sphere


(4\pi R^3)/(3)=3* (4\pi r^3)/(3)


R=\left ( 3\right )^(1)/(3)r=1.44* 4.85=6.99 \approx 7 cm
