Answer: 43 cm

Explanation:

The perimeter of rectangle is given by :-

P=2(l+w), where l is length and w is width of the rectangle.

Given : The length of rectangle is 17.5 cm and the width is 40 mm in cm.

Since , 1 cm = 10 mm

Then, 40 mm=
(40)/(10)\ cm=4\ cm

Then, the perimeter of rectangle will be :-

P=2(17.5+4)\\\\\Rightarrow\ P=2(21.5)\\\\\Rightarrow\ P=43\ cm

Hence, the perimeter of rectangle = 43 cm
