The formula is y2-y1 over x2-x1.

(Remember that or another problem like that)

(3, 4) (-5,2)

x1 y1 x2 y2

We would do: 2-4 over -5-3

2-4=-2

-5-3=-8

Your answer would be: -2/-8, which is simplified to 1/4 because when you divide two negative numbers, you get a positive.
