Answer: g = 5/7

=======================================================

Work Shown:

Let's move the -3/7 to the other side, to fully isolate g.

We do so by adding 3/7 to both sides (to undo the subtraction)

g - (3)/(7) = (2)/(7)\\\\g - (3)/(7)+(3)/(7) = (2)/(7)+(3)/(7)\\\\g = (2+3)/(7)\\\\g = (5)/(7)\\\\

Luckily all of the denominators are the same (7), so we can add the fractions by adding the numerators to place that sum over the common denominator.
