Answer:

E. t - 2t - 3t =32, t=8

Explanation:

A. 2x + 5 (x-1)= 9, X= 2 it's ok because

2x+5(x-1)=9\\ 2x+5x-5=9\\ 7x=14\\ x=2

B. p - 3(p-5)= 10, p= 2.5 it's ok as well because

p-3(p-5)=10\\ p-3p+15=10\\ -2p=-5\\ p=(-5)/(-2) \\ p=2.5

C. 4 y +3 y=28, y=4 also it's ok because

4y+3y=28\\ 7y=28\\ y=(28)/(7) \\ y=4

E. t - 2t - 3t =32, t=8 it's not ok because

t-2t-3t=32\\-4t=32\\t=(32)/(-4) \\t=-8

a (-) is missing!
