Explanation:

Multiply 4 and 5 to get 20-8/2

Divide 8 by 2 to get 20-4

subtract to get 16

Using PEMDAS we would do the multiplication and division first and then the subtraction. So 4*5 = 20 and 8/2 is 4 so therefore 20-4 is 16.
