Explanation:

If we consider the system below (were "A"is the angle):

A + [(x/2)-14] = 90 (complement)

A + x = 180 (suplement)

We can isolate "X=180 - A" and apply this in the first equation. This way we are able to have only one variable, and w'll see that A=28.
