3x-6=-4
+6=+6 add 6 to both sides
3x=2 divide 3 on both sides
X= 1.5
I think that’s your answer if you are trying to find the value of X.

Hey!

--------------------------------

Solution:

3x - 6 = -4

3x + (-6) = -4

3x + (-6) + 6 = -4 + 6 (Add 6 to both sides)

3x = 2 (Simplify)

3x/3 = 2/3 (Divide both sides by 3)

x = 2/3 (Simplify)

--------------------------------

Answer:

x = 2/3

--------------------------------

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
