I hope this makes sense. The “Solve using PEMDAS backwards” thing is what my Algebra teacher tells us to do. I hope this was helpful!

Answer:

t = -4

Explanation:

1/4t + 4 = 3/4t + 6 because 6 is 3/4 of 8

-1/2t + 4 = 6 because you subtract 3/4 from both sides

-1/2t = 2 because you subtract 4 from each side

t = -4 because you divide each side by -1/2
