try to arrange them like a²+2ab+b² ;

here,

a² = p² → ∴a=p

and,

2ab = 10p

⇒2ab = 10a [∵a=p]

∴ b=5 [dividing both sides by 2a]

∴b²=5²

hence,

⇒ p² + 2 .p.5 + 5² = 1+5² [add 5² on both sides ]

⇒ (p +5)² =1+25

∴ (p +5)² = 26
