What is conic map projection accurate with?

In a conic projection, the Earth's surface is projected onto a cone. This makes the longitude lines look like they're radiating from one point at the top of the map. To make a conic map, the mapmaker chooses two standard parallels and designs the map to be accurate along those parallels.
