x= -12/5
Explanation:
-5=5x+7
-5x=5+7
-5x=12
x= -12/5

subtract 5x from both sides
-5x - 5 = 7
add 5 to both sides
-5x = 12
divide both sides by -5
ANSWER:
x = -2.4
