Answer:

The incorrect hypothesis promotes the development of more scientific research that will generate more discoveries and consequently the advance of science.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hypothesis is a term used in science to describe a statement that needs to be validated or denied. For this to be possible, scientific hypotheses undergo a series of tests within scientific experiments that seek to evaluate their veracity and thus contribute to the advancement of science.

When a hypothesis is evaluated as correct, it means that that statement is true and the theories surrounding that statement can be considered scientific laws. However, many times, the hypotheses are evaluated as incorrect, and contrary to what many think, incorrect hypotheses also promote the advance of science because they create the need for the creation of new scientific experiments that will result in innumerable discoveries.
