How do you solve -2 = t/3 - 11?

1.) Multiply both sides of the equation by 3:


  • (t)/(3) ×
    3=t

  • -11 ×
    -3=-33

- We do this because we need to get x alone and separate from fraction from.

Equation at the end of Step 1:


  • -6=t-33

2.) Add 33 to both sides:


  • -33+33= Cancels Out

  • -6+33=27

- We do this to cancel out an extra numbers in order to get only x alone with 1 number on the opposite side of the equal.
