First your should subtract 2/3x from each side to get
1/2=5/6x-1/6
Next you add 1/6 to each side to get
2/3=6x
Finally you divide 2/3 by 5/6 to get
x=4/5

If you multiply everything by 6, you can get rid of all of the fractions and it’ll be much easier to solve!
