Eliza went to the store and bought 3 lbs of apples at $1.99 per lb, two loaves of bread at $.89 per loaf, a box of cereal at $3.99 per box, and a gallon of milk at $3.19 per gallon. If Eliza paid with $20, how much change did she receive?

\text{Hello there!}\\\\\text{We're trying to find how much change Eliza will get}\\\\\text{We know that she paid:}\\\\\text{3 lbs of apples (\$1.99 per lbs)}\\\\\text{Two loafs of bread (\$0.89 per loaf)}\\\\\text{Box of cereal for \$3.99}\\\\\text{Gallon of milk for \$3.19}\\\\\text{Find how much she spent:}\\\\3 \cdot1.99=5.97\\\\2\cdot0.89=1.78\\\\1\cdot3.99=3.99\\\\1\cdpt3.19=3.19\\\\\text{Add them together:}\\\\5.97+1.78+3.99+3.19 = 14.93

\text{Subtract 14.93 from 20}\\\\20-14.93=5.07\\\\\text{Eliza recieved \$5.07 in change}\\\\\large\boxed{\$5.07}
