When water is heated at a temperature of 100°C, it evaporates and changes into water vapor. This is the gaseous state of water and this process of transformation of water from liquid to gaseous state is known as the evaporation process.

When water is frozen at a temperature of 0°C, then it freezes and forms ice. This is the solid state of water.

When water has a temperature between 0 to 100°C then , it exist in the state of liquid.
