53 cards because if Morgan has 98 then 2/3 of 98 is about 65 and 65- 12 is 53

98 = 2/3x - 12
X is the amount of cards Tyler has. It says that the product of 2/3 and Tyler’s cards (x) so 2/3x, but it also mentions 12 less (-12)
You then solve the algebraic expression

Step 1: Flip the equation.

2/3x−12=98

Step 2: Add 12 to both sides.

2/3x−12+12=98+12

2/3x=110
Step 3: Multiply both sides by 3/2.

(3/2)*(2/3x)=(3/2)*(110)

x=165
