you have one penny, one nickel, one dime, one quarter in your pocket. you select two coins at random at the same time. what is the probability (as a simlified fraction) that you have taken at least 25 cents from your pocket

it’s 1/2 because you can get these combinations

1 quarter 1 penny = 26 ✅
1 quarter 1 dime = 35 ✅
1 quarter 1 nickel = 30 ✅
1 penny 1 dime = 11 ❌
1 penny 1 nickel = 6 ❌
1 dime 1 nickel = 15❌

only 3/6 equations gets you more than 25 cents

and 3/6 = 1/2
