The total number of letters in English alphabet = 26

Now, if three letters (A ... Z) followed by three digits (0 ... 9) , then the number of different codes can be made:_


26*26*26*10*10*10=17576000

If two letters followed by four digits, the number of different codes can be made:_


26*26*10*10*10*10=6760000

Now, the total number of different license plates are possible :


17576000+6760000=24336000

The total number of different license plates are possible
=24336000
