Step-by-step explanation :

According to the BODMAS rule, when the expression contains brackets open ((), {}, []) we have to first simplify the bracket followed by of (powers and roots etc.) and then we have to solve the division, multiplication, addition and subtraction from left to right order (respectively).

As we are given that an nonoperational expression:

46-3* 12-4+10=12

Now we have to prove the value of this expression is equal to 12. We will use the following expression that is:

L.H.S=46-[3* (12-4)+10]

L.H.S=46-[3* (8)+10]

L.H.S=46-[24+10]

L.H.S=46-34

L.H.S=12

Hence, from this we conclude that, L.H.S = R.H.S
