Pls help. What would be the equations for these two problems?

Find the dimensions of the parking area if it must be 150,000 ft² where the width is 50 ft
more than a number and the length is 200 ft less than the width.

Find the dimensions of the green space if its length must be 40 ft less than twice its
width with a total area of 33,600 ft².

I don't need the answer just equations!

Answer: 150,000 = (n - 150)(n + 50)

33,600 = (2w - 40) (w)

Explanation:

Let n represent the "number".

then width = n + 50

and length = (n + 50) - 200 --> n - 150

Area = Length x width

150,000 = (n - 150)(n + 50)

************************************************************

Let w represent the width

then width = w

and length = 2w - 40

Area = length x width

33,600 = (2w - 40)(w)
