The personnel manager at a company wants to investigate job satisfaction among the female employees. One evening after a meeting she talks to all 30 female employees who attended the meeting. Does this sampling plan result in a random sample? Simple random sample? Explain.

No, it is not random sample.

Explanation:

Since chances of attending the meeting are only a particular type of female employee either they have the same designation or have the same job profile, So selecting these female employees is not random, As the selection of each female employee of a company does not have an equal chance of selection.

Further, Simple Random Sampling is the sampling when samples are chosen randomly, where each unit has an equal chance of being selected in a sample.
