Answer:

Explanation:

Area of the garden = x^2 + 8x + 15 The area can factor.

Area = L * W

Area = (x + 5)(x + 3)

If the length is x + 5 then with width should be

(x + 5)(x + 3) = (x + 5) * W

Divide by sides by x + 5. You should note that x can be any value but x = - 5

(x + 5)(x + 3) = (x + 5) * W

======== ========

(x + 5) (x+5)

x + 3 = W

Part Two

Area = x^2 + 8x + 15

x = 3

Area = (3)^2 + 8*3 + 15

Area = 9 + 24 + 15

Area = 48

L = x + 5

L = 3 + 5

L = 8

W = x + 3

W = 3 + 3

W = 6
