What happens if I don't score high enough on the ACT or SAT to get into my
first choice?

If you didn’t score high enough, you can retake the exams. But too many retakes might affect the chance of getting in the school you chose. Some things that can boost your admission to that school would be if you got a high GPA (Grade Point Average), recommendation letters from your teachers, or after school clubs that you have committed into doing. Most of these takes years to develop though.
