The correct answer is B) allow the second marriage of Henry VIII.

The English Parliament issued this Act in order to allow the second marriage of Henry VIII.

The name of this act was the Supremacy Act and was passed in 1534. With the passage of the act, the British Parliament named King Henry VIII "Supreme Head of the Church of England." The split with the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church was done. Henry had it his way. The annulled his former marriage with Catherine de Aragon and married her second wife Anne Bolen.
