Then, The storage capacity of CD-ROM disk will be :


10^6* 6.0 * 10^2=6*10^(6+2)=6*10^8

If an average word requires 14 bytes of storage, then the number of words can be stored :-


(6*10^8)/(14)=0.428571428571*10^8\approx0.43*10^8=4.3*10^7
