For this case we have that by definition, a flat angle is the space between an intersection between two lines whose opening measures 180 degrees.

Then, if we look at the figure we have to:

2x + 3x = 180\\5x = 180\\x = \frac {180} {5}\\x = 36

Thus, the angle ABC is
2x = 2 * 36 = 72, less than 90 degrees, so it is an acute angle.

The CBD angle is
3x = 3 * 36 = 108, greater than 90 degrees, so it is an obtuse angle.

ANswer:

x = 36

ABC is acute angle

CBD is obtuse angle

Answer:

x=36

Explanation:

Angles on a line add to 180. You can combine 2x and 3x to get you 5x, making the complete unsolved equation 180=5x. If you divide both sides of the equation by 5, you will receive 36.
