Answer:

f(5)=9

f(0)=-1

Explanation:

We are given with a function f(n) as

f(n) = 3 + 4(n − 1)

We are asked to determine

1. f(5)

In order to do so we replace x with 5 in our parent function that is f(x)

f(5)=3+4(5-1)

f(5)=3+4 × 4

f(5)=3+16

f(5)=19

2. f(0)

=3+4(0-1)

=3+4(-1)

=3-4

f(0)=-1
