For Beuys, each element in the world has the same value. Joseph Beuys was a German born artist. During his artistic career he came to be associated with that era's international, Conceptual art and Fluxus movements.
Beuys is particularly famous for animal fat and felt works, with two common ingredients - one organic, the other fabricated, or industrial - that had a deeper meaning for the artist. Beuys was an important participant in the 1960s Fluxus movement.
