Answer:

4 , 3 and 7

Explanation:

Let the numbers be x , y and z

i) The sum of three numbers is 14.

x+y+z=14

ii) The second number is 5 less than twice the first number x.

y=2x-5

iii) The third number is 3 more than the first number x.

z=x+3

Hence

x+y+z=14

x + (2x-5) + (x+3) = 14

x + 2x -5 + x +3 =14

4x-5+3=14

4x-2=14

Adding 2 on both sides

4x=16

Diving whole equation by 4

x=4

Hence the numbers are

4 , 2(4)-5 , 4+3

4,3,7
