Try the following example. Remember to use the hints if you need them.Solve for x.2.9×10−7=(x)(x)^2(5.4)/(5.4)^2(3)^2Choose the correct answer.4.7×10−62.4×10−22.4I don’t know. I am unable to obtain any of the answers but I do not want to give up.

Answer:

4.17*10^(-4)=x

Explanation:

Assuming that the expression is:

2.9* 10^(-7)=x^2((5.4)/(5.4^2))3^2

Solving for x we have:

2.9* 10^(-7)=x^2((1)/(5.4))9

2.9* 10^(-7)=x^2((9)/(5.4))

2.9* 10^(-7)((5.4)/(9))=x^2

((15.66* 10^(-7))/(9))=x^2

1.74* 10^(-7)=x^2 then we have two possible solutions one positive and the other one negative.

\pm\sqrt{1.74* 10^(-7)}=x

The options are just positive then we will consider only the positive solution

\sqrt{1.74* 10^(-7)}=x

0.000417133=x

Now using scientific notation:

4.17*10^(-4)=x
