If the activation energy required for a chemical reaction were reduced what would happen to the rate of the reaction?

The rate would increase
The rate would decrease.
The rate would remain the same
The rate would go up and down

Answer: In chemical reactions enzymes lower the activation energy for a reaction. That being said they decrease energy required for a reaction to occur but they don’t necessarily increase the rate at which the reaction occurs.

So probably C but if you’re still unsure you might want a second are in this case third opinion.
