r - rate

Use formula
D=r\cdot t connecting the distance, the time and the rate.

In your case, we know

distance D = 325 miles

rate r = 65 mph

and do not know time.

Substitute them into the formula given above:


325=65\cdot t\Rightarrow t=(325)/(65)=(65\cdot 5)/(65)=5\ hours
