I just need a little explanation on the steps to solve:
6+4b= -18

if you can dumb it down enough lol that would help (>_<)

Explanation:

6 + 4b = -18 (you have to substract 6 on both sides)

(6-6) + 4b = -18 - 6

4b = -24 (now divide by 4 on both sides)

4/4b = -24/4

b = -6
