The untouched greatest integer function is made so that the whole number in an x-axis value becomes the y-value (i.e. (2.9, 2), (4.3, 4), etc.) This continues all the way to the next number, even when the number is something like 2.999999999.... If you put in the number 0 into choice A, you would get a y-value of -2, just like in the graph. This continues for all values in the domain [0, 1). At x = 1 the graph hops up to y = -1, again shown in the graph and continues like this infinitely.
