Explanation:

Surface Area is sum of the area of all the surfaces.

In the bottom portion, There are 5 squares (each 4 * 4 dimension) -- front, back, 2 sides, and bottom.

The area of 5 of these are:

5 * (4 * 4) = 80

In the top portion, there are 4 triangles each with dimensions height = 6 and length = 4, so the area of triangle is 1/2 * length * height. Hence, the area of 4 of these are:

4 * ( 1/2 * length * height = 1/2 * 4 * 6 = 12)

= 4 * 12

= 48

Hence total surface area = 80 + 48 = 128 square meters.
