The student in item 1 moves the box up a ramp inclined at 12° with the horizontal. If the box starts from rest at the bottom of the ramp and is pulled at an angle of 25.0° with respect to the incline and with the same 185 N force, what is the acceleration up the ramp? Assume that μk= 0.27.

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

You will need to know the mass of the box......you did not give it in your post.

Part of the 185 N will decrease the normal force ....this will decrease the frictional forces. Part of the 185 N will act up the incline....this force less the frictional forces will accelerate the box up the incline according to

F = ma....but mass is not given.

The component of the weight of the box perpendicular to the incline is mg cos 12. = 335.5 N. The normal reaction force acting on the box is 335.5- 78.2 = 257.3 N.
