Explanation:

Given : The fixed cost to join the swim association = $50

Then , the cost for each swim class = $5

Let x be the numbers of swim classes you can attend with, then we have the inequality below:-


50+5x\leq100

To solve this for x , we first subtract 50 on both sides, we get


5x\leq50

Now, divide both sides by 5 , we get


x\leq(50)/(5)\\\\\Rightarrow\ x\leq10

Hence, the possible numbers of swim classes you can attend with =10
