All you have to do is use PEMDAS

Parentheses
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

First do everything in the parentheses starting with multiplication/division and then addition/subtraction so you would do 3•5 which is 15 and then add one which makes it 16.
Then you do the exponents so you do four to the power of two which is just 4×4 and that’s 16.
After that the 2 next to the parentheses means it’s whatever is in parentheses times two and 16×2 is 32.
And now you can subtract like normal so 16-32 is -16

Answer:

-16

Explanation:

You do the exponents first and then the parenthesis. After that you do the rest which should give you -16
