Step 2:

Consider the below example to understand about rational number.

Example:

6 = 6/1 and thus 6 are not irrational number.

Also numbers like ¼, 481599/45565 and -5/7 are also rational numbers, as they are fractions whose nominator and denominator are integers.

Step 3:

Integers are whole numbers, negative whole numbers and zero.

Example:

486699, 32, 5, 0, -35,-3022

Whereas numbers like ½, 5.5558, 8.5, Pi and -25.55 are not integers.

So we can conclude rational numbers are equal to Intergers.
