point-slope form is: y -y1 = m(x -x1)

plug in the given values and solve

y - 4 = 1(x -4) (use the distributive property to get rid of the parenthesis)

y -4 = 1x - 4 (add 4 to both sides to isolate y)

y = 1x (1x is the same as x, so it's redundant to write 1x)

y= x (this is the equation of the line)

if you don't know how to graph y=x, whatever the y value is, the y value is. it's a straight line going through the origin.
