- HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) was developed in year 1993 and XHTML(Extensible Hyper Text Markup Language) got developed in year 2000.
- HTML is supposed to have less expressive feature as compared with XHTML which is more expressive.
- HTML persist of not being case sensitive in nature whereas the XHTML has the case sensitivity in nature.
